House Cleaning questions you may have.

Q: Do I have to do anything before the cleaning?
A: We would appreciate if possible that you pick up clothing, toys or other household items so that our visit can be as efficient as possible.

Q: Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
A: Specialized House Cleaning will bring all the equipment and normal cleaning supplies, unless you would like us to use your supplies. You will have to provide your own Vacuum Cleaner.

Q: What time will Specialized House Cleaning be at my home?
A: Our normal workdays are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We generally set a specific day and time.

Q: Do I need to be home when Specialized House Cleaning comes?
A: Most Specialized House Cleaning customers are not at home during the scheduled cleaning time. Unless your meeting the cleaner for access to your home or need to be home for any reason.

Q: How will Specialized House Cleaning access our home?
A: The most convenient way is for you to leave us with a key. You may leave a key at some designated accessible place at your residence. You may meet the cleaner at your scheduled appointment.

Q: If we have an alarm system how will you access our home?
A: If you have an alarm system at your home and it is simple to operate, you can give instructions on its operation to your Specialized Cleaning office. However, if your alarm system is complicated, we prefer that your alarm be left off on the day of the cleaning.

Q: What if something is damaged during the cleaning?
A: We always treat your home as if it was our own. However if something were to be damaged or broken during our visit, Specialized House Cleaning is fully insured and will take care of the situation.

Q: What about holidays or changing a scheduled cleaning visit?
A: If it is necessary to change/cancel/skip any scheduled cleaning day, please notify Specialized House Cleaning 24 hours before the scheduled day. That will allow us to reassign cleaners or teams to another appointment. If Specialized House Cleaning receives less than a 24 hour notice, or can't access your home, it will be necessary for us to charge the full price of your cleaning. If for some reason you wish to terminate your Specialized House Cleaning services, please be sure to notify Specialized House Cleaning 24 hours before your next scheduled appointment. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.

Q: How do I pay for the service?
A: Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a envelope marked housekeeping on kitchen counter, with payment enclosed in the form of cash or check made payable to Specialized House Cleaning Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit. Unless pre-arranged. A  $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks.

For Exterior Services (Window Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Deck Sealing) Payment is due on the day services are complete. Unless pre-arranged. A $10.00 non-payment fee will be incurred if payment is not made on the scheduled service day, and a $25.00 fee is applied to all returned checks.
